The past few years, the Moon Society has been hosting the Moon Track at the annual International Space Development Conference sponsored by the National Space Society. This years ISDC is being held in San Diego, CA May 23-27th over the Memorial Day Weekend.

February 25, 2011 - Today, ISRO, the Indian Space Research Organization, has released a paper detailing the discovery of a 1.72 kilometer long (5,733 ft.) intact lava tube section in the south western reaches of Oceanus Procellarum, the Ocean of Storms.
9.30.2010 - Today, the Moon Society presented its University of Luna Award to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for his vision and advocacy of space solar power to meet global requirements for clean energy, economic development, and environmental restoration. David A. Dunlop, Moon Society Director of Project Development and our unofficial roving Ambassador, made the presentation at the prestigious McDonald Club in Toronto, Ontario after a two-day drive from his home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, stopping at the Milwaukee home of Society President Peter Kokh to pick up the award.

August 18, 2010 - We introduced the first fifteen members of the Moon Society's then new members of our Board of Advisors in our November 28, 2004 report. Since then, we added five more on March 2, 2005, four more people to the Board of Advisors on January 17, 2007, and ten more on March 2, 2009.
