The TENTH ANNUAL MOON MADNESS NIGHT
was a resounding success.
Here is the schedule
Ms. Christine Nobbe gave the
Welcome and Special Acknowledgements
helped the people find the sessions they wanted to attend.
She also had real Moon Rocks for all to see.
Dave Heck gave a presentation titled
"What to do with Space Station Poo".
Bob and Rufus had several things on display at the
Moon Society table,
Gravity Bricks got the most attention.
Since this was an event where a number of children and parents were
in attendance, and the list of speakers and displays were of interest
to them, at least two reporters came to check out the excitement.
Rufus was even quoted in an article by Mary Shapiro in the
St. Louis Surburban Journal of January 10th
"It's great that this encourages children," he said. "If you can hook
one of them on space or science or engineering or math, you've done good.
It's fun to watch the kids respond to the stuff we bring."
