Hi all,
I represented Moon Society Nashville Outpost by presenting my “Apollo to Artemis” exhibit at Vanderbilt’s Dyer Observatory’s Telescope Night on Friday 4/18 from 8:30-10:30pm using spacecraft models of the Apollo Saturn V, LM, STS Space Shuttle, Soyuz and Artemis’s SLS, Orion, Lunar Gateway, and SpaceX and Blue Origin’s Human Landing Systems. Commercial space models shown were Blue Origin’s New Shepard, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 with Crew Dragon, Falcon Heavy and Starship, Boeing’s Starliner on ULA Atlas V, and Axiom and Vast’s commercial space stations. Photo below.
I discussed the Artemis 1 and 2 Orion missions, Artemis 3 and 4 SpaceX crew landing missions and Artemis 5 and 6 Blue Origin’s crew landing missions.
The program was well received. I spoke directly with about 75 of their 180 guests. I had some great questions and compliments.
